that is all.

ETA: BUT...DUDE. I WOULD PUT SPOILER WARNINGS ON, BUT NOBODY EVER READS MY TAGS. LOL

ETA2: Food for thought, guys. All of this negative reaction and the protests of, "I can't watch this, I love them too much to watch them destroy [insert character A, B, etc], so I'm done", is exactly what God did when this happened the first time. ( ( Read more... )

*FLAILS*

I did love how everyone and their brother was pointing out how they are just HUMAN, yet the non-humans seem to have a probelm with staying alive and sane. Great thing about being human? Knowing your limitations and yet exceeding them - seems all these non-homo-sapiens could learn a thing or two from that.

Yeah, they be hatin', but they is secretly be jealous of us, no lie. They all want to be here and have what we have, but they're so busy destroying the one thing they really want... hmmm. Sam's pieces being like an inner!Dean and inner!Hell. There had to be more than just three; it went on for such a long time, and our minds dream faster than real time. Such good thinkiness in these episodes, it's going to take me a long time to wrap my head around all of it.

Also, YAY, BOBBY'S CAR WAS BACK!

Also also, IMPALA!! NOOOOOO!!! D:

Okay, well, yeah. I've been fairly quiet around here (except of course for something of an outburst at my place) because I don't want to dampen everyone's squees with my it-could-have-been-worse mehs. It probably boils down to I don't really care about Cas (*shrug*), I care about Brothers, and while it would be hyperbolic to say they were ZOMG NOWHERE TO BE SEEN, they were both light and lacking.

But I do like your thinky thoughts so here I am, finally. Also trying to dredge the good from the bad and take what I can from the season, which I figure you guys are the ones to go to for that sort of thing :)

only that he kept his word and he is owed thanks for that.

Um, what word was that? I don't really remember what went on. Memory fail. Did he promise to restore Sam somehow, or something?

walked bravely toward madness, faced it, and lost.Really? I didn't see that in his actions at all. I mean, yeah, he lost. But I saw a whole lot more bitterness, disdain and arrogance in his journey than anything else. Doubt, sure, I guess I can see ( ... )

There are so many things that we COULD say, but that would just be taking all of the fun out of it too early. I miss all the time that I had last year to do reviews, but dang, those were like having a part time job.

You care about brothers! Us, too! Like... ALL the brothers, even the ones who aren't blood. As for the awesome Sam and Dean stuff in both episodes, tahirire has been working on a few things and they are still going up. Winchesters have always gone for subtle whereas angels and demons do not. It's there, though.

Thanks! Maybe once upon a time when we wrote reviews, it was easier to know what we think. Now, we write stories instead. :)

First off, *JamesDean five*.

that would just be taking all of the fun out of it too early.

Fun for you, anyhow. *pout* Right now I'm fixed on the little things I enjoyed from the season and trying to ignore the story, because that's currently the best way to get any joy from what they've done for me. And I won't argue, there HAS been awesome Sam stuff and some awesome Dean stuff but there hasn't been much awesome SamNDean stuff. I did like the angst-free-ness of it for a while. But it also felt like Writers didn't know what to do with them if the relationship wasn't angsty and strained.

ALL the brothers, even the ones who aren't blood.

Ah, but, that's the thing - I never got the brother-vibe from Cas, so it felt very artifical and forced. I mean, I guess the brother vibe is a subjective thing - like Jo always felt sisterly to me until season 5, but others obviously disagreed. Cas always felt like a cousin - family, sure. Just not a brother, which is such a loaded term on this show.

One of the last times that Cas and Dean spoke, ( ... )
