And now it's time for the annual Anime North posting. This con was fun. Not as fun as others, but better than some others too. Now, I'll start off by apologising to everyone for being a bitch during most of it. There are a LOT of reasons why. I also want to thank Angie for getting me through the week before, and Rob for helping out the night before

Well, if it helps any, the Masq. Ball was a complete failure as far as I'm concerned. I got my money back at least, so I can't complain fully, but it was a pretty big disaster. We waited over an hour to get in with no water or seats available (and for someone who is 7 months pregnant, this is a cause for stress). When we finally got in, the photo booth wasn't ready yet (nor did it get ready while we were there which was a good hour and a half), they rushed the costume competition which I had been very much so looking forward to entering, and it was just pretty crappy really. The IDEA of it was great, and would have been great, if they could have pulled it off. Needless to say, I was completely not impressed with it.

I checked the Horror Expo guest list today, because it was released, er, today... MALCOLM FUGGIN' MCDOWELL is on the list. Like, I'm just about pissing myself here I'm so excited.

Nope, as I said, no mad or grouchy atcha. Was death glare for certain organisers who gave us the wrong time/location/restrictions and caused most of us undue stress at the worst possible time. Ah well, it all worked out, so that's fine.

Anyhow, totally agree with organising for less people next year. I refuse to repeat this year's hotel fiasco. People's mess is their own mess. Two rooms were really good, but like some people just trashed their room. Was really pissed on Saturday night. Thankfully, everything got cleaned up. ^^
