That spring virus that infects you and demands every waking second that you be outside and not working 50 hrs a week.  I should just get a job AT Kensington Metro Park, then I think my problems would be solved.  Although I'd probably end up picking up deer poop but at this point...I'D BE OUTSIDE!!!!  I've been thinking a lot about religions ( Read more... )

I still love you.

You need to come over! Skip going home, come over here and stay the night. And pick up your shirt for work. :P

"I just want a gathering of like minded people that don't have very many demands and that are open minded enough to understand that I am vague in my worship but that doesn't mean my passion suffers any because of it."

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Farmington might be exactly what you are looking for. When I have children, I plan on celebrating the Unitarian Universalist tradition of Chalica with them. (Hell, I might even take my children to services at a Unitarian Universalist church.) This map shows that the UU Farmington church is 2.6 miles from your home.

We are all called to something... anonymous April 5 2009, 22:38:32 UTC
In fact, are you really surprised? Going back to the Bible and our role as believers, we are called for many different things. However, in this case, the calling is how we will glorify God in the way that He has created us to. For example, some are called to be teachers while others musicians, etc. Each has a purpose and a plan to encourage other people in their lives. Whether it be to help them in their walk with God or brighten up their day...both are necessary. Does that make sense? Unfortunately, sometimes it's hard to hear what we're being called to. There are a lot of distractions in the world. I'm still a little uncertain. However, I know where my gifts and talents lie. I also know what energizes me when I do something. In my case, evangelizing or debating with people really excites me. Very rarely am I happier doing something else. Find what that is for you and pursue it. B ( ... )
