Two of the Rolling Stones lit up a fag on stage last night. In a magnanimous gesture to the rich and famous, Greenwich Council has decided not to fine the Stones for flouting the smoking ban. Well, today has been majorly crappy. The only redeeming part about today has been the meringue, vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce I've just devoured. The weather has been thoughtfully mirroring my mood with thunderstorms and lightning flashes.

It's been a busy weekend in North Yorkshire. Apparently, it's all been going on, from surprised cows to controlled explosions in the city centre.
