Do men really have bigger brains than women?

Two of my friends, Tracey and Dave, are having their son, Sam, christened this Sunday and I'm going to the service. I had the following conversation with Dave this morning.

Me: What time is the christening on Sunday, Dave?
Dave: What christening?
Me: Sam's.
Dave: Sam's?
Me: Yes, you know, your son.
Dave: Oh, yes. Er, don't know.

Oh, dear God.

Oh dear - I think his mind was elsewhere! lmao!

I've said many stupid things in my life though so I can't criticise Dave. My classic at the moment is when I am speaking to my husband, Malcolm it I usually call him "Mam..and then it comes out as Mam-Malcolm." I even called him "Sarah" in a bookshop once and get him and my son mixed up so in the end poor Malcolm hasn't got a clue whether I'm talking to him or James!

Still hubby is used to me now.

My mum's like that. She'll sometimes go all through the family, starting a name, shaking her head, starting another name, until eventually she gets the right one! I've told her she's losing her marbles!

I've often joked that I need to book myself into the memory clinic. I don't know what I'll be like when I'm old, but perhaps I won't notice myself getting worse! lmao!
