That was a really hard episode to watch. Like you I prefer the less graphic option (and the less 'audience already knows all the answers' option) of seeing the team's reactions rather than having everything on screen.
Loved the Reid and JJ issue and the resolution, really thinking that Morgan's still a little too calm and accepting too easily right now. Maybe there'll be an incident later in the season that will bring everything to the surface for him?
yeah, I think Morgan is still not done manifesting a reaction. I think he's probably telling himself that he's taking the high road right now, that yeah, Hotch and JJ had no choice about telling The Lie -- but it will probably rear its head again if trust for an authority figure, i.e. Hotch, becomes an issue on how to work a case, something like that. Morgan has always had trouble trusting fully, so this could not have helped that.
They need a cooking class for the next several weeks, I think. I would be glad to watch. Then we could start wondering when an unsub is going to get a lecture to cook more, kill less. ;)
I could definitely handle watching a Criminal Minds cookathon, especially if the others took turns showing everyone how to cook something they're really good at.
