@1st pic: I visited those dudes' booth at AX one time and asked if they had any oyaji doujins. They gave me a funny look like someone farted, and scoffed saying "no, we don't have that."

Awwssss poor you. I get discounts from the time to time since I know one of the dealers. I'm sure they're just stressed since they deal with a lot of people like fangirl hordes. I feel your pain though since I didn't find that one FF12 Larsa doujin *shotalulz* I was looking for hahaha.
I've cancelled my AX trip I'm still thinking if I can make plan for Comic Con.
Lulz they were in the neighborhood, plus Shawn's goin' back to Florida that day.
Honestly though, AX isn't all that hot. If anything, Comic Con is worth it IMO--especially if you're going to have a booth. A lot of talent scouts go there every year.
Plus the panels = ultra win. In the past there were some for Avatar, the new movies coming out (Iron Man, Watchmen, etc), TV shows like Lost, Heroes, etc.
I've been to AX once, pretty chaotic experience. Yeah I hear a lot of good reviews of Comic Con from people who've been there, especially the idea of mixing artist booths with industry people.
Yus they say its basically the multicultural version of cons. Now I'm more tempted hahaha

Usually balut is just boiled egg with developed chick in it, it can be pretty disgusting cracking an egg up and a chick's head drops down and looks at you straight in the face but its pretty delicious :D

Yeah they were having a private photoshoot so I tried not to disturb the photographer and the cosplayer too much. People were taking pics here and there and they had to go somewhere.
There was a lot of good cosplayers at the con, plenty of bad ones too but it's better to spice up the crowd than wearing boring everyday outfits.
Fanservice woman, it does its job well in doujins hahaha!
We rarely meet each other since I don't live in Seattle anymore. I have a blast everytime I hang out with them though :D
Anyhoo - it's great that you do get chances to go hang out with your pals :) I miss my university pals a lot... but I get to see them at least once every couple of months :) Horrah for the internets, in that respect XD

I can't help it I'm very compelled in taking candid shots among my photos.
I was in a car actually, I'm using the contents of his cart as reference. I always wonder what they put in those things.
