I tried to go running today

And I totally suck. I hate running, I really do, and I always have. I don't know how people can "love doing it," that makes me sick. But, it doesn't really matter if I like it or hate it, I have to start trying to go for at least a little while every day. I have do something about all this weight I put on. Good luck with the running. I have tried to start back walking everyday and so far I have gotten nowhere. I just dont have the motivation I need.

Actually, some studies say speed walking may be better for losing weight than running. It reduces the risk that the fat cells will just turn into muscle cells, especially on the thigh and butt area. You don't need to overexert yourself, or feel a burn, to know exercise is working. (Actually, when your skin goes cold it shows you're burning calories, so that's what you should try for.)

It's a misconception that fat cells turn into muscle cells from exercise.
