wonderkid is trying to kill me! Kill me I tell you! Look at the picture in the comments here. My dear sweet boys are in the US. They will be playing together (*crosses fingers*) on August 5th on MY TELEVISION SCREEN. Last night I was feeling very "Chelsea be damned" due to great Liverpool pride but really, who can not love these boys?

Also, will Read more... )

Such a pretty picture. I've tried really hard not to like Chelsea, for the Liverpool pride, but then Michael Ballack happened, and now this picture... not to mention Terry crying at the World Cup, and Lampard looking so sad.

I wanna know who the captain will be to. I have a feeling it will be Terry though...

Oh, your Liverpool pride really does not stand a chance, no matter how deep it runs. Just look at Micha! He's impossible to resist. (Though if you happen to figure out how to resist him, please do tell me. Obsessions are terribly unattractive, etc.)

My Liverpool pride will never go away, but I might have to not dislike Chelsea so much. I can do both.

Really? I think obsessions are very attractive actually. Especially if the obsession actually is very attractive. Or something. I don't know what I'm saying anymore.

Yeah, I figure I can juggle love for both teams at the same time, too. Though my heart is really 96% for Chelsea and 4% for Liverpool. (Those are the exact percentages. I used a calculator.)

Thank you for saying that; you've just given me permission to continue feeding my obsessions. :D

Four days. FOUR DAYS! I suppose I'll have to revive you before then, or you might haunt me for the rest of my life.

P.S. Your boys didn't do so well in that friendly. :( Grasshoppers 2-0 Liverpool.

You have no idea how much I will haunt you if I am still dead on Saturday. Your TV might mysteriously shut off every time you are happily enjoying Micha on screen. Wouldn't that be fun for you?

What do you mean by calling them "my boys." I don't care if Chelsea is your number one team but you're rooting for Liverpool as well, correct? CORRECT? (Be honest, but remember that your answer greatly affects my neverending opinion of you.)

Okay, okay, I'll revive you. Not today, though. Check back with me tomorrow, and I'll see what I can do.

I called them "your boys" because they TOTALLY ARE your boys. Chelsea is my #1, but I do suppose I can cheat on them a bit and root for Liverpool on the side. I just can't deny Stevie. Or Crouch. Or Xabi. Or this Luis Garcia, who looks very promising, btw.

Then again, I can't deny Micha. Or Sheva. Or Joe Cole. Or JT. Shall I continue?

Surely you can understand, otherwise I will have to check your temperature and order you eat lots of chicken soup.

But if Chelsea and Liverpool play against one another, which will surely happen,... I will have to root for Chelsea.

Stevie and Xabi are cooler than Micha and Sheva (by a little) blackandwhite02 August 1 2006, 18:40:26 UTC
When Liverpool and Chelsea play each other perhaps we should pray for a tie because otherwise we might stop speaking to one another. Although that doesn't seem too likely. One of us will just be slightly more disappointed than the other, and then there will be guilt over inspiring that disappointment and whatnot.
