Remembering Milton (again)

Back in January, I posted this over at iy_flashfic for parsnip_chan. She felt it needed a more definitive ending, and so did I, but I was in a huge slump at the time. Since I'm trying to kick my muse in the pants these days, I thought I'd finally revise and finish it.

I like the characterization of Hojou not being thick as two planks; perhaps the presents are passive/aggressive.

Nice. I never saw the original, so I don't have anything to compare this to, but I found it rather bittersweet (in a good way). The people Kagome leaves behind tend to get glossed over in favor of all the adventures she's having down the well, but I think this interpretation of them is very appropriate.

I didn't read the original first time around but I like this. Poor Hojo always gets the short end of the stick I'm glad to see someone portrays him with a brain.
