Still coming down from their elation and initial confusion, Alia and Jacques head over to one of the tables after placing their order. Being back...
It's all a little strange. It's supposed to be a happy occasion, but finding out that I've actually been gone over a year is throwing me for a loop.

Journey North
It's been forever since I've written in my journal. It's been weeks since Aila and I hung out together and in the spur of the moment, decided to take a break from the craziness that is Budehuc. A small update
I think I'm finally used to being back at the castle. I've spent most of my days sunbathing (so that girl Mitsuba can't say I'm too pale), practicing with my bowgun (so that girl Mitsuba can't say I'm too frail), and just hanging around with some of the locals.

What a homecoming...
Hmm... it's been quite strange around the castle since I got here. But not in a bad way.

The Return
I've returned to Budehuc. I trust everyone is well.
The weather's nice today. I had a nice quiet trip walking back to the castle gates. Cecile was the first person I saw. She's still working hard as the Castle Guard, eh? That's good to see! *faint smile*

I can't believe I'm doing this. I'm returning to Budehuc... After my long absence I'm returning to the only place I can call home. I don't want to hear the "I told you so" speech. I think it would kill me. Well I would kill whoever says that to me. Then it would kill me. No one will find out what happened between Julius and I, least of all Jess.
