Epic, legendary and exactly what this fandom was desperately crying out for. We needed some type of closure and this was fantastic. Subtle and beautiful with enough Eric and Ari interaction to sate even the most rabid fan of their fighting. Your Ari voice was dead on and this was so much fun. Thanks for writing!

:) Thank you. The finale just bothered me, you know? There were things about it I loved, and things that made me wish Eric would just...

My little brother's email went:
I really wish they would drag one of those 'E's doing just fine without Vince, look at him symbolically put on those sunglasses' montages out for a couple of episodes. *g*

And he's totally right. It just didn't seem like a fight that would blow over entirely quite that easily.

I do love Ari, but his POV-voice still intimidates me, so I'm glad it sounded okay!

Um. You just turned around the bad taste of that whole season and made it something meaningful. I am going to run with the idea that Eric, in fact, still refuses to sleep with Vince, and this fic has me looking for the Ari/Eric subtext in it. :)

I love all the little touches... Lloyd's messages, Ari's thoughts on Chicago, Drama being conflicted, and Vince continuing to demand and touch, and ignore whatever is unpleasant about reality.

I was holding my breath throughout this fic hoping and hoping it would stay gritty, because Vince is an asshole, and doesn't deserve the porny pay-off he gets from fandom so easily, and you stayed the course, even though you brought up how deep their relationship does go.

(Maybe I'm just sleepy, but what exactly was the second part the Mrs Murphy says Eric remembers?)

I'm very amused and Ari sleeping on E's couch, because you know he's the sort of guy to check into a penthouse suite and a five star and bill it to Vince as expenses.

*g* It's not without Ari/E subtext, though I was trying to tone it down a bit for this one.

And Im glad you felt it stayed gritty. I couldn't write an unhappy ending, but I didn't want to just ignore what had happened, or write a sex-heals-everything story. I love Vince, I do, but if I was Eric, I wouldn't have just gotten over it like that.

(Oh, I'm sorry that wasn't clear. I just meant that Eric remembers that he turned up at the show, even though they'd been fighting. He forgets that what happened first was Vince dumping the girl for him.)

Keep writing dark, conflicted fic with Ari!
Maybe not the next one, but almost certainly the one after that ;)

ok first of all, that obscenely but subtly encourages my eric/ari/mrs. ari threesome fic baby plot idea. and HA! i can so picture lloyd doing that. love!

this was amazing and angsty and teh sex at the same time. j'adore. i love your E and your ari- so spot on. (that's probably why you write such amazing e/ari fic =] )

*g* I would love to see the threesome, because it would make my Ari/E so much easier. I'm not a fan of infidelity fic, but I love the two of them together so much. And Eric's a good guy, why wouldn't she like him? Lloyd does!
