After the past couple of months of watching Marci's health rapidly deteriorate from lung cancer and then hearing this morning that she passed on while I was away at oode, every time I see someone smoking I tear up and feel like I've been kicked in the gut. Reintegration after oode is hard enough without coming back to work today to find out that an amazing coworker of mine died over the weekend after complications from lung cancer. When will it stop?

Screw waiting until Sunday to move. I took today off, reserved a U-Haul, and we're getting into move-mode now. woot!

Katie just arrived at SFO, and is now on bart to the east bay. Woot! In less than an hour I can finally show Katie *our* new house. Hell yes.

Holy shit! I got the place! Katie arrives this Thursday the 19th and our lease starts Saturday the 21st. Guess I'm moving next weekend. Fuckin fuck yea!
