A guy today told me at work that it's better to have only one real friend instead of knowing a crowd of "fake" friends who act like they know you. I was talking to him today about how many people have not talked to me after I graduated high school (well, the people who were in my grade, anyway) and how I couldn't believe that these people that I knew since middle school could just stop talking to me. I explained to him that I've tried calling these people tons of times, and they never pick up or call back. And that's when he said those words of wisdom to me. Basically, if you find out they are shallow and only knew you because you were there and able to talk to, and if they didn't actually think of your friendship with them as anything more than just you knowing them at the present time, fuck 'em. Very odd how I was told this advice today and now I am telling you the same thing on the same day. I care, and I hope that something good happens for you. You might lose a lot of friends like I did (after I got arrested), but once those
