I had a question about what flowers to plant to attract beneficial insects into my vegetable plot, so asked the Master Gardeners in my local Extension office that question. I've attached the email correspondence behind the cut, in case any of you are interested in their answers.

The peas are up and looking strong (mostly)! The onions are up and have nice long green shoots. The baby lettuce is woefully overplanted, so I'm going to have to thin out the rows a LOT, but I'll do that on the way home from work so I can take the teeny sproutlings I pull out of the ground and stick them in a dinner salad when I get home. 1. Gonna have to stop by the GardenPlot this morning on the way into work to give my plantbabies a drink. It got hot enough last night I had to close the windows and turn on the AC. 1. the toe nails have been repainted in the official spring color: Vibrant. Its a bright pearly pink. The toes, they wiggle in glee.
