Entry 25

Dec 17, 2010 01:38

The postman's gone right now -- I went by there to think about getting something else -- and instead they're asking us to write letters to someone else who might bring us presents. Does anyone else think there's a connection?

Well, Santa's not exactly real. The Postman is. Maybe he'll just be dressed up for the occasion.

Why do you need explosives?

Ah, but the point is that the Postman never gives out things for free, and that 'Santa' has always been too good to be true. Who knows what Christmas will bring...?

As for the explosives...let's just say some of us want to be prepared for what Christmas brings.

Because nothing in this town can be trusted to be good.

A shame I never got to get my eye back from the postman. Maybe Sandy Claws will realize I've been such a good girl all year.

What's so special about your eye?

You again?

What did you mean the other day, hm? [I told you he'd be coming back to it.]

I'd suggest that maybe the town is being nice and giving us a freebie -- letting us get our stuff back without having to 'pay' for it, y'know? But even I'm not that optimistic~!

If you were, there'd be a problem.

There's hardly much difference between the two.

That depends on if you believe in such things...but either way, it's a long stretch to believe the real thing or any kind of 'jolly' facsimile would come here.

It's the only way I have right now; the town ripped out my vocal cords recently. You'll have to forgive the necessity. [Yeah, despite his words, Schuldig sounds far more amused than sorry.]

You seem to be catching on quick, in any case. I'd bet any money Christmas will be anything but jolly.
