The doctor was very pleasant, he obviously knew his stuff about the sinuses and quizzed me on them too. I'm sick. Really sick. I had a cold about a week and a half ago and it incubated into a sinus infection and came back and I've been sick, sick, sick since Friday. So I went to the health center today, and the doctor refused to prescribe any antibiotics. So my anniversary with Jim was on Friday, and it started out well. He got me a pretty necklace with opal and tanzanite, and I got him a straight razor and a strop. And he got me flowers which were also pretty, all pink and purple. I finally wrote my poem for class tomorrow. It won't be good enough. But I wrote it and it is mine and I will listen to that woman rip it to shreds and not feel bad. Or not very bad.

Why is my boyfriend the only person who will let me pay for my own dinner? It's not like I'm putting out for these other people or anything. Weird.
