my sister and mike got married! while my folks are visiting- they surprised them by going by the courthouse and getting married! i'm so happy for them! mike was a part of the family from day one and they've been together for a couple years now and have moved- twice?- in the process. they'll have a reception later on when we can get both families ( Read more... )

opened the front door of my building for the UPS man and received two packages- woo! one is the leather lace to complete my current craft project, and the other was two huge boxes of cat litter! i do product surveys at times and i'm testing out a cat litter... pretty cool, and i get a month's worth of free cat litter in the bargain! ha ( Read more... )

they ripped out all the trees around the ampitheatre for the new theatre they're building... pfaugh- i'd rather have the trees.

i was fairly disgusted when it started snowing today at work, but i have to say that after walking home at night with snow lightly falling through amber streetlights and sparkling on the ground... the kind of snow my mom once called "fairy kisses"... yup, i caved. i forgave winter... at least for this snowfall anyway ( Read more... )
