I was sneezing all morning, so I found a Mucinex pill in my bag, the decongestant kind. Anyhow, I didn't really eat lunch, and the damn pill made me all goofy and nauseous, and so then I had a soda to try to make amends with the tummy. Now I'm anxious and uncomfortable. We watched the season finale of the L Word last night, and I would have to file it under L for Lame. This is a show that I will admit has cheesy acting, but in the past has somehow managed to snag me in with some kind of gay drama situation. Last season's cliff hanging finale was pretty good. I love this town. I'm looking out this window, and i'm only on the 9th floor, and there is a beautiful view of the lake. The skies finally cleared, and the lake looks flat and serene. I'm pacing my work, so I will have plenty to do all day. I'm also learning Spanish on the BBC website. It is very basic beginner stuff, but it is a pretty good ( Read more... )

I ended my night last night with Miles fast asleep on my lap. His head was resting in my hand, and his little body jerking with doggy dreams. The kitty next door is now pushing little toys under the door to share with Miles. So cute!!

We tried to go to the parade down in the city, but that was a no go. We got down there, but could not get anywhere near the parade. The thing is that the rest of the city had the same idea as us, so it was really quite impossible to get near the parade route. We did see the green river, which was pretty cool ( Read more... )
