[this old post box, retrofitted with a perception filter so any passers-by will simply ignore it, happens to be one of a handful set around various points in the universe. all post boxes link somehow to the main one located in the TARDIS. somehow, the Doctor will always get his post.]

[just don't expect things to arrive when they should, though...]
