also I have a friend who every year will start writing right at midnight but I am always having too much fun on Halloween to do any of that. Yeah.

/o/ Well, with a comm doing it we could definitely all finish one massive work! Maybe, hopefully, who knows!

hgfhgj Last year was my first year so I think I started like 1 am halloween night? Yeaah. I was determined to get at least 1500 words first night. I think it was 2500, oi.

but yeah I'm always too busy trick-or-treating on Halloween and then crashing the next day so... yes. COMM STORY TIME how would that even work?

Hrm. Well, I'm guessing there's several ways.

One, just individually send in drabbles about the game.
Two, as small groups write a few thousand word thing and pass it around within that group. For example, let's say we get 30 people. If we demand a 1,000 words for a person we'd be nearly there. But we can separate that into maybe groups of five and they can collaborate and write a "chapter drabble" of about 8500 words.
Like:

Writer A writes 500 words---> Writer B writes 600 words---> Writer C writes 1200 words---> Writer D writes, etc. etc. That way everyone has an equal chance to participate. :3;

I have tried to do NaNo every year since I was like twelve.

I have never gotten past the first chapter each time. 8( MY ATTENTION SPAN JUST DOESN'T HOLD FOR THAT LONG SOB. I would love to do it but I know I'd never finish it and just. Augh. TAT; Congrats on reaching your goal, though! That's seriously amazing, and the cover is awesome ♥

On a serious note, though, I'm actually really interested in this group thing! It'd be awesome to have a collection of RP drabbles in my hands and just like, an actual book.

I'm going to try to do it. Granted, I say this every year and then forget about it. But I actually have something I want to write and this would be good impetus to do it instead of waffling around and procrastinating my time away.

Sob. I can understand I hardly finished mine, after all. But, if anyone were interested to do it as a big group, taking turns into like one huge, weird drabble everyone participating could have a greater chance of winning!

I've known a lot of people who do, actually. I don't think they really check and I believe it said before.
