Sounds like your mother isn't empathetic about your anxieties. By the way she yelled, sounds like she has her own set of anxieties. Goodbye Christian God theory. ;-) Not to make light of your mother's behavior, but yelling is what mom's do. If possible, try to tune it out.
I bet if you spoke to your classmates, or anyone who remembers their school years, they'd understand your anxiety. Throughout high school and uni, a week before classes began, I'd have anxiety dreams. They were mostly about being late on the first day of class or not finding the classroom. There were several variations that would play out each night. When I awoke, I'd be exhausted.
Thank you, its a big comfort to know that I'm not alone in these matters. It goes away after a week or so, but when it's here... Man. My parents take the "insult her until results improve" method with me, I guess I should just be thankful I've gotten to the point where I recognize it now.

It goes away after a week or so, but when it's here... Man.
