As soon as I type this, I am heading to the kitchen! But I am unsure if it will be cookies, brownies, or pie. I ended up crashing at 8 pm last night. How pathetic is that for my favourite night of the week?
Aaaaaaah!! What's in the cellular peptide cake?! That is, perhaps, my family's favorite TNG quote - we still randomly through it out there, in full Work voice. <3
Mouth is currently watering. That looks so, so good! I think I'll need to cook more meat this year - uh, to start cooking meat this year, yes I will! Up to now we've been a) microwaving frozen veggie schnitzels or b) M (roomie) making actual schnitzels. Which is great, and schnitzels are awesome, but, you know, MEAT. Is sometimes necessary. I've also fried frozen kebabs once or twice. Now that's health food. Um.
Your picture is awesome, by the way! You are a great photographer, as evidenced by recent picture posts.
Aw, I haven't had any schnitzel since my trip. Now I kind of want one.
You can do it, you can triumph over meat! I have faith in you.
Beef is much easier for me than chicken. Chicken is my nemesis. I find it much harder to tell when it's done.
The meat I was hoping for tonight was more like the medium-rare London Broil my dad makes -- like this -- but the recipe I tried didn't have a picture, so I guess I got my hopes up when I shouldn't have. Maybe that'll be the next beef attempt on the list for this semester.
Hey, if I promise to do the dishes, would you cook for me? Pretty please? *stares longingly at delicious-looking food* I'm hopeless when it comes to cooking.
Absolutely, anytime! You don't even have to do the dishes. (And I will not use a new recipe either. It's one thing to experiment on oneself, and quite another to risk poisoning a friend. *g*)

Would be happy to send you the cake recipe now that it's typed up, if you want it.
