 I admit, during episode 15 and 16 of City Hunter I was starting to get bored and a little fatigued with the constant back and forth between Yoon Sung/Nana, Yoon Sung/Daddy, the Kyung Hee stuff, the Who Is Yoon Sung's Daddy, Today? and the targets.

18 brought the ball into the court, interest-wise for me too, but I don't know, I'm thinking I'm easing out of the flail mode and just preparing for how it ends next week.

Even after seeing it two times, I still fail to see the point of that movie. None of the relationship dynamics changed, Kurosagi STILL hasn't achieved vengeance, and there was no kissing. Might as well never have made it. Waste. Of. Time. And also, WASTE OF PERFECT SEXUAL TENSION. SO much possibility that movie had, and it capitalized on none of it.

I think I would be a lot more sad about CH ending it Protect the Boss didn't start next week. This way, I go straight from Lee Min Hot to Jaejoong (he's going to be taking names and breaking hearts, aka mine, as the second lead) so I don't think I'll be very disappointed.

oh, i was ranting to someone about how I absolutely hated how they had built up this vengeance/revenge plot in Kurosagi and then KUROSAKI HAD HIM IN HIS SIGHTS AND DID JACK SHIT ABOUT IT AND THE RAGE, OH MY GOD, I CAN SUMMON IT AT WILL.

And they completely forgot about Tsurara - because he spent more time in that movie with RANDOM OTHER WOMAN then he did with her, so FIE ON YOU PRODUCERS AND WRITERS FOR RUINING EVEN THAT PART OF THE FORMULA.

I think Jae'll do well for himself as the second lead - Yoochun's been improving enormously over his projects (even though I've only seen one episode of Ripley and quit SKKS halfway through), and I'm actually not going to ship him with the lead girl, I think the dynamic between her and the lead is going to be all kinds of Makino/Domyouji type of fail lol, and there's nothing stopping that once that gets started.
