yeah I'm a little fed up with YS' Epic Noble Idiocy and the hilarious flashbacks within an episode. Though, damn, Prosecutor. SO SMART. I feel oddly proud of him for being so competent.

Usually by this point in the drama I'd be completely fed up with the hero pushing heroine away, so I suppose it's a testament to the strengths of CH that I'm still emotionally connected to the conflict, much as I hate it.

As much as I hate the conflict, actually, I have to admit it makes sense, what with Yoon Sung's character and the stress he's been under from Jin Pyo and the Prosecutor.

And the Prosecutor! I would be so happy if he and Sae Hee ended up getting back together. As aggravating as he can be in his one-minded pursuit of what he thinks is right, you can't help but root for him. And I love that he is a prosecutor who actually does his job, as opposed to every other supposed kdrama genius, who can't notice the birth secrets right in front of their noses.

I especially love that he's not completely good. He's self righteous and also a little bit innocent in his idealism, but he's also not above revenge or petty anger, or even above using the law for his own purposes (as long as his purposes ultimately serve the law, at

but 15/16 really felt like the typical Kdrama slump episodes, I was just underwhelmed with both of them, despite the secrets/knowledge being revealed. I know they couldn't have kept their breakneck pace (and Lee Min Ho looks like he's about to die, they must be doing over night shooting now)

While his intentions were good and he explained them to her, it still didn't make that push pull away any less aggravating or shopworn - just once, drama, can you have a OTP that stays together and uses something else as dramatic conflict? I'm just tired of it.

I was pretty underwhelmed too. I hope the last four eps pick up the pace again.

They went backwards with the OTP stuff, too... NO, CITY HUNTER. DON'T DO THAT. MOVE FORWARD.

I love YS' noble idiot thing but I am a total sucker for 'push away for your own good' thing plus I like that he told her the truth about what is going on and what he wants which is more than 99% of drama people do :P

Although I can't say I actually LIKE it, I do appreciate it narratively because the drama can definitely sell it. Emotionally it feels true, which I like. But it's kind of like- I love the direction that Yoon Sung's conflict has taken and I love his character, so because him pushing Nana away is consistent with his character I can't outright hate it. But the pain it's causing Nana makes it very hard to like it, lol.
