OH MY GOD.

Well done, production team, on finally learning how to do real cliffhangers.

BUT OMFG. THAT CLIFFHANGER. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY. THE WHOLE EPISODE, IT WAS LIKE ONE GIANT BALL OF AWESOMENESS AND ANGST AND FORBIDDEN UST AND JUST LUST AND JUST OH MY GOD HOW CAN A DRAMA BE THIS AWESOME?!?!

JUST THIS WHOLE EPISODE.

It is one of the few dramas I'm watching that's airing right now, I've been so meh about everything lately, and this just hit the buttons unexpectedly for me. It's crazy entertaining and I am willing to suspend belief for it. Also I love that in ep 8 they had a shout out to one of my favorite kdramas (when Nana fell asleep in front of the tv) ever. Way to be sweet and clever show! But yes. Episode 8 was very cliff hangery. I can't wait for 9!

I agree. I do have problems with it (like how has nobody recognized Yoon Sung, yet?) but I'm more than willing to overlook any such problems because the show is fulfilling every single drama fantasy I never even knew I had.

And re: the cliffhanger. What made it so awesome (apart from the fact that he's saving her life, etc.) was that the prosecutor essentially sacrifices Nana for his case, while Yoon Sung went straight to her without a thought for the candidate or what evil-daddy would think.

oh,I never really considered the prosecutor to be a strong Second Guy for Nana's affections, though I did like the Daddy Long Legs motif about his character - he still carries a torch for the vet and episode 8 really just emphasized how much he's NOT over her and the thing that drove them apart in the first place - him prioritizing his job over her, is still in effect. The eye glance he gave Yoon Sung before bolting for the baddie though? I felt like it was like, you know, I got this, you get her.
