OH MY GOD.
Well done, production team, on finally learning how to do real cliffhangers.
BUT OMFG. THAT CLIFFHANGER. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY. THE WHOLE EPISODE, IT WAS LIKE ONE GIANT BALL OF AWESOMENESS AND ANGST AND FORBIDDEN UST AND JUST LUST AND JUST OH MY GOD HOW CAN A DRAMA BE THIS AWESOME?!?!
JUST THIS WHOLE EPISODE.
WHEN SHE SHOT HIM. AND THEN HIS DREAM. AND THEN JUST HIS FACE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE FUCKING EPISODE. He's just so vulnerable and you can see it's all getting to him but he still has to keep being City Hunter but you can totally tell some cracks are starting to show and the noose just keeps getting tighter and tighter around his neck and really, thank god that that senator went batshit crazy at the end because there is no other way Yoon Sung would have gotten out of that, identity-intact. Also, I'm pretty sure a prosecutor isn't allowed to go fight random suspects, and how can a prosecutor fight that well, anyways, BUT I DON'T CARE BECAUSE IT WAS ALL JUST SO AWESOME.
Throughout the whole episode there was just this sense that something was to give any minute now. Yoon Sung is starting to feel the effects of the gunshot wound and just the stress of it all and he's dropping hints left and right that he's City Hunter and it's only a matter of time before Nana or the prosecutor picks up on it. I don't know because no subs yet, but the veterinarian might know already. I DON'T KNOW. I JUST CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I LOVED A DRAMA SO MUCH.
I feel like I'm way back in the beginning of my drama-watching days when nothing was cliched or overdone, yet, and I couldn't predict what was going to happen, so everything was new and fascinating and just addicting. AND NOW CITY HUNTER IS LIKE THAT.
Seriously, you guys, I just cannot express the depth of my love for this show. Somebody watch it!!!
