Next week I have to attend new teacher induction and 3 days of in-service... then I get money. Which is nice for only working 4 days. Then school starts on the 27th. We had to put my kitten, Trinity, to sleep today. She was almost 2 years old. It was, by far, the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I'll miss you, 'Lil Pink Nose.

Diagnosis: skin mites.

Contagious to other small animals. Apparently they never went away from the first time Griffin had them, just in remission. Gave Griffin and Odin baths. That made for two VERY unhappy guineas.

OCMD could have been better. It sucked because it rained almost the whole time we were down there. Sean says that it was the PA weather following us around. Wouldn't doubt it. We barely got to set foot in the ocean. And of course, right as we are leaving, it decides to get sunny! Argh ( Read more... )
