[Private]

Man, now I think about it, I should have brought extra batteries with me. What a pain...

So anyway, after walking around in the Badlands for three whole days, I finally came across The Silvana. It really is "big and gray" and a little intimidating. For a while I was thinking maybe the ship was owned by a group of shady people, but when ( Read more... )

akihiko (caesarstrike), weird people are weird, exploring the ship, luke is high maintenance, toph (terra_inflexus), permission to stay, recap, silvana infiltration successful?, rufus (lifetogain)

[her braille printer's printing, and she's complaining]

People, for the last time. Do me a favor, and make voice posts. This paper isn't cheap!

[pause as she reads the braille]

And I just wasted a whole sheet. [louder] You owe me ten francs!

And no clue. A bunch.

It's my journal, and I can do whatever I want with it. Unless you've got a really good reason for telling me to use the speaker, I'm just going to do what's most comfortable for me, thanks.

And what do you mean "I just wasted a whole sheet"? And I don't owe you any francs.

Well that's specific. 10? 20? 50? 100?

[printing, complaining, then, loudly]

I'm blind! That good enough for you? My printer paper is expensive, and I had to open another pack because of you. You owe me ten francs for making me waste paper.

[It sounds as if he has just turned his speaker on. There's a long, long pause. Some shuffling can be heard.]

...oh.

I don't have much on me, but if I ever go back to Bellcius, I'll ask Mother for the money.

A ship this size? The crew itself could be as large as sixty to seventy, although I haven't seen that many around, so likely the current number is much smaller - and then however many passengers they've taken on. I haven't bothered to keep count, though, nor have I met everyone aboard yet.

Huh. Agrias told me that The Silvana doesn't get passengers very often, but I figure there's bound to be more than half a dozen people on this ship. And hopefully they're not all weirdos.

By the way, who are you?

I've spoken to at least nine personally, so you would be correct. Though I've met no other passengers thus far, only crew.

Rufus Shinra. And you are?

Other... passengers...?

I've met three if you can call it "meeting", spoken to one other, then there's you and whoever told me about the ship to begin with.

Luke fon Fabre. I'm a passenger.

I have yet to meet everyone myself, but the impression I've gotten is around thirty.

Thirty, huh? I guess that works. After all, it would be a pain if there were only about a dozen people on board, and I sure don't feel like helping with the cleaning or anything.

You've got a name?

[Ehehe. I do that too.] caesarstrike December 4 2009, 04:54:14 UTC
Akihiko Sanada. I'm a gunner here.

Who might you be?

Hey! Wait a second! You mean this airship has guns?!

What the hell are they planning to do with those?!
