We realize that homeschooling is not for everyone, but here is a good reason to think twice about letting strangers teach your child science or anything else.
Our high school biology teacher refused to teach evolution. You have to imagine this in a Chinese accent: "Evolution not true. God create world, seven day. Evolution lies! So we not learn."

Book: "Really?"
River: "We'll have to call it early quantum state phenomenon. Only way to fit 5000 species of mammal on the same boat." (rips out page)
