It's 2:20 am here, and I just dyed my hair black, and already I want to do it bright red, I want to get my nose pierced (I'm 55, ok?), what little money I've got's burning a hole in my pocket. Yes, I'm here.
I pierced my nose last semester but it fell out in the shower after a week. I liked it while it lasted though. I'm sure I'll pierce it again durring one of my "episodes".
=) Thank you. It's the Greek and Aramaic meanings of my name.
Lol. When my daughter pierced her nose, she kept losing it in the apt. swimming pool. I can't count the times I had to buy her a new stud. She finally got a ring instead
Hey, It's really late now. It's like 4:30. I, too, know what you're going through. It got so bad for me that I ended up dropping out of school altogether. By the way, I added you to my friends list, check me out and add me back if you'd like. I hope you feel better and wish you motivation and productivity, not to mention a good night's sleep.
I had the same feelings in college, and I didn't even know I was bipolar back then... But it was pretty well known on campus that I had attempted suicide so my professors were very lenient with me... Still, I felt stupid being treated like a "little nut job" (you put it so well! haha) Hang in there & I hope you feel better soon... *hugs*
I'm worried that if I try to talk to my teachers about making up the work, they will either get really mad and be very mean or they'll think I'm nuts and treat me like I'm super fragile. I don't feel like dealing with either option.
I remember that feeling all too well... If it becomes a habit some teachers tend to get a bit annoyed, but usually they're understanding the first time you come to them... Honestly I was going through such a hard time I didn't mind if they treated me like I was fragile... Kind of nice for a change actually! And so many people have similar issues these days, I don't think anyone would think you're nuts :)
