First, I want to thank everyone for their support on my little irritated rant about people who can live without meds. ♥

Now.

Has anyone had any problems with Lexapro? I'm on the max ( 20mg ), and it's definitely not working. I've been on it for 2-3 months now. I'm severely depressed, crying constantly, my body is sore and achey, I'm extremely ( Read more... )

Thanks so much :[ it really is annoyingly difficult.

And well, be careful with it, I mean, I get that it works differently for different people, just I suggest maybe keeping an eye on it though, like with everything else. Because it seemed sorta okay for a couple weeks, and now that I look back, I think it was because I had my old medication still in my system or something.
But now :[ just, ugh. Major burn.

Lexapro was a miracle drug for me at first. Though after a while, I started to develop a tolerance for it and it ended up doing more harm (would actually make me depressed) than good.

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with medication. Have you tried cognitive-behavioral therapy? Depression has been shown to be successfully treated, with and without medicine, with this particular branch.
