thanks for posting this. you know, your daughter's right, it's not about gifts, it's about love, and the fact that your daughter has this figured out at such a young age is amazing. i've always believed that spoiling kids with tons of presents only makes them unhappy.

i prefer quiet holidays myself, too :)
