Side effects of larazapam?

Okay, I posted a day or two ago, in the midst of a manic episode. Anyway, my doc gave me script for Larazapam (sic) and now I'm seriously stoned out of my gourd. She said it would make me sleepy and take away the manic feeling but she didn't mention the stoned-ness.
Anybody else ever feel like this?

There is a good article on there about the medication you are taking. I wish I had some personal experience with it, but I don't.

I do know that the withdrawal from this medication can be really bad, but that is just because I have read on here for the past four years.

I've been on Lorezapam for years now. It makes me a little lethargic too, but not so much that it bothers me. I just lowered my dose by splitting the pills in half and taking them about two hours apart. You'll get used to it. What dosage are you taking? I take 2 mgs/day. Anyways, hope I helped!

Lorazepam? Generic for Xanax? Doc gave me baby dose Xanax 0.5 mg and when I was manic on Effexor, I took 6 of them one night and it had NO effect.

Your mileage may vary.

I think the other name for it is Atavan. I'm on 1 mg, 3 times a day.

I think my doc just wants me to take it until I'm through this episode I guess. I hope so, because I could never be fuctional like this. I feel like a damn stoner.
