Apple tech support at Apple stores are not necessarily geniuses, as I would say from today's experience. The "genius" wasn't aware of battery extended warranties for Macbooks and Macbook Pros. But when I showed him the page on Apple.com he replaced my failing Macbook battery free of charge to me. YEY.

State Street in Santa Barbara is the best street ever, period. :D
