dot points of life:

• I am doing ballroom now XDXDXD I will be going for a street latin bronze (salsa, streetcha, merengue) in four weeks.
• I am doing a script writing course with Tee O'Neill and Ross Mueller, both MTC performed playwrights.... there's going to be homework *facepalm*
• I had a callback for Ophelia for Eagle's Nest today... my agent is

wait a sec..what are you aussies doing ? Over here Latin and Salsa are two completely different things with different foot techniques... what's going on?or is this the street part o.O

Yes, there is a distincion between Latin (Cha Cha, Samba, Rhumba, Jive and Passo Doble (Argentinian Tango)) and Street Latin (Salsa, Merengue, Street Cha). They come from the same sources, but there is a different feel to them, absolutely.
I'm starting with the street because there's more freedom in it and he wants to get my whole body working before he starts isolating. Free me up first XD
I've done touches of all before, but not properly.
I will also at some stage do the classic social (Waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, english tango)

ahh I think I see my confusion there.. what you refer to as Street Latin is conveniently all put under "Salsa" here, to make it less easier to rememebr and stuff.. XD - I'm doing Street Latin now: merengue, Salsa, Montuno, Antillian Waltz.. and the evil Tumba. XD

we don't have bronze/silver/gold here, so dunno what level you're at..but I assume it to be high ;) - I'm about to finish up Advanced I myself.. ^_^

lol, goodness no!
the medals are just to sort of say, hey you can do this, hey you can do this well, hey you could maybe be in comps!
they sort of mark the distinctions between beginner, individual and advanced.
i'm a baby!
