As hoped, I got this afternoon off, which is good as it would provide my only chance for a walk until next Sunday.  I went in to work prepared with all my gubbins, and soon after 1 I was free.  The weather was beautiful, and as I drove from Hereford to Upper Hill via the Canon Pyon road, the landscape looked enticing as it spread out before me.

Thanks, but it all looks much worse than it is!
