I used to loathe MTG for its interference in our game group. This one fellow would bring his cards and man-handle them while he was supposed to be playing D&D.
Then in Croatia this persistent fellow in my team badgered me into going with him to a tournament being put on by the USO. I got to the final game in the eliminations and won like 5 boxes of cards. I didn't get obsessed, but I was over my loathing, I suppose. I did like the goblins and the chook decks. I had a fire/goblin deck that was pretty fun. And my swamp deck (black/green) kicked some ass.
You know...that's an idea. I wonder where my cards are...

Haven't played MTG for the longest time. I tried for a while to make a black&white deck, but they don't seem to combine as well as other colors.
