Just got back from another Myrtle Beach excursion, this one timed to Danielle's birthday, and with four friends along. Everything went decidedly well, and even when the birthday dinner didn't quite meet standards and expectations, it still turned out good. Well, I am here. Last night was something of a blur, but it was a fun blur. I will say that it is very nice to have my DSi wwith me. Since internet is the only thing I would want out of the realm of portable computing, the little handheld does nicely to fit this need. It is much easier to type on this tiny touchscreen keyboard than the much more awkward Wii point-and-click method. The tech level of this little gadget is, to me, nifty but not unexpected. I was merely waiting for something like this to arrive. I am pretty jazzed over my new doo-dad, though. Internets! In my hand! YAY!

Threw a small party last night. Not more than 9-10 people, counting ourselves. Still, the couple of hours I had with everyone after work seemed like fun. I was Don Hertzfeldt's banana from Rejected. Got our first full paychecks today, not just partials. Danielle bought a Nintendo DS. I spent $20 reserving a few games. The rest, however, is going to setting our finances arights.
