I was thinking about watching this show, since the premise sounded interesting. I only knew about it because I saw it on LJ (though that's not saying much since I haven't watched much TV on TV lately). But I guess if it might be getting cancelled, I should probably wait and see what happens. I don't want to risk getting attached to a show just in time for it to get cancelled. Again.

Sounds like a good plan. I probably should've done the same thing, but I honestly wasn't expecting to like the show, and now that I'm attached, the inevitable end is going to hurt.
From what I understand, they might've shot the show as a miniseries as opposed to and open-ended series, so even if ABC decides not to show the rest, Canada's currently airing the show I think, and the BBC will in the future, so I'm confident all the episodes will eventually make it to air somewhere.
Did it get less boring after the first ep and a half, because I tried to get through ep 2 and ...
Even w/ Ron Livingston I was drifting. If it picks up I'd like to try it again, but I was pretty disappointed by the pilot. OTOH, pilots often underwhelm.
I think it gets better, but then I'm kind of invested in the show/characters now. Some trippy stuff does start happening, especially to Donner (ooh and you get some backstory on him which is nice), and the ship occasionally has a mind of its own, and Ajay gets some more screentime (I love him) and so does the Doctor/Psychiatrist with the burn scars, and Rollie is adorably stalkerish which makes me lol.
I'm on episode 5 now and I think this and ep 4 were some of the better episodes.
I guess I have no taste cause I really dig the show. I've been pretty surprised that no one is really talking about it, it's got a great cast and is interesting...Ron Livingston...I mean come on nagh. There is such worse crap on television, that I'm pretty bummed people can't seem to get behind this show.

True. I think the show's improved as it's gone along, really, and I too enjoy the cast. I'm iffy about the mysterious sci-fi element, but all the relationship stuff is pretty strong (I enjoy how they fit the flashbacks into the show; they're getting better at making it feel seamless). It's unfortunate that ABC didn't try harder in promoting this show, because I think people would've liked it if they had had the opportunity to give it a chance.
good to know...I will certainly give the show 3 episodes. :)
Yes, I miss Men in Trees. I really didn't like the whole amnesia thing with Patrick, though, and Jane never really became the woman she could've been except at the very last episode. ::sigh:: Plow Guy was da man. (Although I loved what's his face...)

I love Ron Livingston! But man, he needs to be in better things, though.
