I don't like packing
I'm going to San Diego tomorrow. I packed for a nicer weather.
I checked the weather in San Diego for the next three days. Mid 60's to 50's.
I have to change my selection of the wardrobe. Darn. I don't like "in between" weather. -
$20 for one hour foot massage
My co-worker told me this joint and today I tried it out.
It was great!!! The place is clean and spacious. And if you buy 10 tix, one hour session would be only $16. Of course I bought those tix! I may treat my staff as moral building exercise ;-) -
Tax season
Although our tax filing isn't complicated at all, we are not "number" people, and my husband's Aunt is an accountant, every February we go to see her and do the tax thing. Since practically our income was a carbon copy of last year, we get some refund again. YAY!! Next year, my income will definitely go down, but the tax is also scaled according to ( Read more... ) -
Skype and Broadway
I was doing Skype with my mom today and in the background I could hear the Japanese TV news. And it was talking about how the bad economy is having a huge impact on Broadway like 9 shows closed in this month. It was strange to hear Broadway news in Japanese through Skype. -
Spelling Bee in Japanese
I found out that they are producing 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Japan. Although a Korean version has been done already, I'm very curious how they are going to do the spelling part. Just read the word in English and explain in Japanese ( Read more... ) -
Ragtime at Kennedy Center
I just found out that Ragtime will be produced at Kennedy Center this year. Where was I, totally missing such important news! Ragtime is one of my fav shows.
But Ron Bohmer as Father? Hmmm, interesting casting. I wish I can see it but pretty much this year's theatre budget has been cut significantly, so I doubt I can :( -
Mark Taper connection
There are three new staff in our office starting this month. One of them is from Pasadena, and he commented on the POTO poster on my wall. His mother is a theatre fan and he saw many different Phantoms in L.A. and saw different shows over the years ( Read more... ) -

Love Child @ B Street Theatre
Today I went to see "Seafarer" at B Street theatre. I really didn't know anything about the play, and it started slowly and I wasn't sure where it was going, but by the 2nd act pretty much everybody in the theatre was really into it.
