My journal has been, how do you say, bleak. So I figured I'd talk about good, fannish stuff to show that not everything in life is terrible.

SO EXCITED about Star Trek filming. I nearly died at the images of Chris Pine with blonde hair. CAPTAIN FINE HAST RETURNED. I'm eagerly awaiting set pics and ones of ZQ with no eyebrows. And oh lord, Benedict ( Read more... )

I'm...actually glad he's gone for good. *dodges rotten vegetables* I'm in the minority, but he was just too cartoony for my tastes. I'm also glad he's not going to be the only villain.

Tumblr is a magical place. I found out long ago you learn about things way before someone makes a post on lj or elsewhere.

I was worried that the second series wouldn't be as good, but I was surprised to find that it was probably better than the first. I don't know how the third can top it, but I'm betting that they'll try their asses off.

And Supernatural, sigh. That's why I stopped doing episode reactions. I'm just not excited about it anymore. I mean, it's all right, especially for a 7th season, but it's just okay. I'm hoping it'll pick up more by the end of the season.

The one I liked the least though was The Blind Baker

Yeaaah- that episode is pretty much regarded by most, if not all of the fandom, as crap. And it's amazing that the same guy who wrote that pile of fail- was the same guy who wrote the 3rd episode of this latest season.

Oh, I didn't know that. Yep, two ENTIRELY different episodes by the same person, who knew. But still, there were some good things, like face grabbing and rows with self checkout. Even the worst of Sherlock is a lot better than half what's on tv.
