Happy post

My journal has been, how do you say, bleak. So I figured I'd talk about good, fannish stuff to show that not everything in life is terrible.

SO EXCITED about Star Trek filming. I nearly died at the images of Chris Pine with blonde hair. CAPTAIN FINE HAST RETURNED. I'm eagerly awaiting set pics and ones of ZQ with no eyebrows. And oh lord, Benedict Cumberbatch as the main villain? I'm selfishly hoping it's not a Klingon because I don't want that lovely face all covered in makeup or *shudders* given Klingon forehead ridges.

Speaking of that lovely man, dear lord were the last three Sherlock episodes amazing. I admit to crying a little during John's speech at the end of the third. JUST TAKE MY HEART JOHN WATSON, TAKE IT. I thought about it and if I had to rate them in order of which ones I liked best, I couldn't do it. The one I liked the least though was The Blind Baker, but one out of six is NOT bad and it wasn't like that episode was bad in general. Such quality!

Supernatural has been all right. I mean, it's nothing fucking amazing, but not terrible. Is it strange that my new favorite episode is Death's Door? I don't know why, but it was so beautiful to me and if Bobby has to go, that was the best fucking way it could have gone. Not sure how I feel about
Castiel returning. On the one hand, I do miss him and definitely want more closure than what we've been given, but on the other hand I hope it's handled well and he's not back simply because of fan pressure. Frankly, I wish they hadn't killed Bobby OR Castiel. I know it's all about isolating Sam and Dean and taking away every support system they had, but they could have put Bobby in a coma or actually plan on having Misha back in a recurring role. I mean, they've killed everyone and it's kind of hard to have a show last longer than just this season if they only have two major characters.

spn, spoilers, boldly slashing where i've never slashed, the game is on, channel surfing
