Dude, awesome yet weird dream. I dreamed of Glee, and I was at their high school for some reason. I don't know but they were all proving something to the football team in this auditorium and they were short a singer, so I stood in and rocked it. Maybe I dug Lauren last night a little too much, lol. And Kurt was there and being fabulous and Karofsky ( Read more... )

about summaries i figure it out from the prompt or think of them at the end!

about your predicament

i think you can show experts of the letters or the mail vids or vids calls

like

a starry night one month after

at the end of the semester i was so tired, and a vid was in mail

and we see the expert of the letter and what the recipient feels at reading it and even like that you can change the point of view

like

i was really tired, but when i see the red pulsating in my deskcomputer i decides to listen

today was pleasant day at the academy some young student came to me with a interesting question and i would like to know your insight
blah blah

the red afternoon fell above Spock desk with a touch of other colors when he receive a reply

What do you think???

I'm not sure that title and summary are the most important part of a fic. They might be the most important part of advertising a fic, which I realize is really important; no matter how good your writing is, if no one looks at it, well, it's pretty disappointing. But no matter how amazing title and summary are I'm not going to read something to the end unless it has more going for it.

I think different people want different things from summaries, which makes it really hard. I like very short summaries that tell me exactly what the fic is about. I dislike dialogue excerpts and would never click on a fic that has a line from a song as a summary ( ... )

For summaries, I usually use my favorite line, or the most catching line, in the fic.

For your second question: I like the idea a lot but, there is something jarring about the ellipses. Maybe you could try italics?
