I don't even know how I did either! I guess because it was an absence of something and with all the other fail of the latter seasons, it just slipped past.
Loll, I love that your Supernatural dreams are Supernatural. Once I dreamt that Steve Buscemi was an axe murdere and was changing Sam, Dean and I, and then I had another dream in which Sam and Dean were like, Bond, and jumping out of planes and shit.
As much as I agree, I have to say Spirit in the Sky and The Contours made me happy. I'm just, that way.
Heh, that certainly is an interesting dream right there.
Those songs made me happy too, and I think what gets me is that there's not enough real classic rock. One of the big premises of the first season was to make it a different kind of show with its musical selections, veering from the indie rock and pop you get on shows like Grey's Anatomy or One Tree Hill or something, and now I'm like, where's all that rock music?
I dont want to be one of -those- fans, but I geninuely have come to the realization that when a "monster of the week" show (like xfiles, supernatural) theres something thats sacrificed in favor of an overarcing (often lame) plot line. Like music and brotherly (not going to say love cus you know how I feel about incest) ninjary or quippy "IDONT BELIEVE IN ALIENS" "WELL I WANT TO BELIEVE" banter (and just mulder, who suddenly had to disappear for some odd reason)
Monster of the week shows should stay monster of the week shows, developing characters and adding on extra but not losing it's umph. (see star trek and CSI... well like the first 7 seasons of CSI)
