More Supernatural - It's like I went back in time or something

I had a Supernatural dream last night. Yay watching the Pilot at a late hour!

Sam and Dean were on a hunt and it's a little foggy what exactly went down, but basically some kind of creature that my mind termed Death got this girl and Sam and so their life starts draining from them. So they escape from the creature and plan on going to where they can kill the creature in its native habitat. Bobby's driving and Castiel appears there and the creature keeps trying to attack Sam more as they but they banish him each time he tries. At one point they stop the car and Castiel gets out and like, breathes this blue vapor and bottles it. He says its like the peace of heaven and most people don't experience it until they are already dead, but he's giving it to Sam to die peacefully. So they get to the place and Sam's laying there dying but happy because he got the blue mojo juice or something, and Dean just lays beside him and they joke about good times and Dean kisses Sam's forehead and his nose and Sam closes his eyes and dies oh wait no he doesn't, for some reason he survives, and it was a good reason I've forgotten it now and Sam sits up and accuses Dean of engaging in a chick flick moment, lol.

I love my dream life, it's so slashy.

My sister and I talked about this a few weeks ago, but it just occurred to me again: What is with the decline of the music on Supernatural? You can't blame it on money, because the Pilot episode had like 50 songs and they didn't even know if the show would be picked up. The same goes for the next two seasons, especially season three. I wondered if it was just me, that maybe I'm just imagining things, but then I looked up the first 10 episodes of SPN and the last 10 episodes of season five and here it is, the music lists of each episode.

Season five is really bad, but seasons four and three weren't too good either. I can almost forgive three what with the writer's strike happening halfway through it, but come on, did they spend the money for new songs on making the titles longer? Did Castiel accidentally zap all of Dean's cassette tapes? No wait, I bet Dean cried too much over them and they warped on his tears. Maybe it happened in the fourth season and Sam made them go explodey with his Special Demon Blood Kool-Aid Powers. Oh yeah! Come on spn, at least put the music that lets me feel like it's a far better show.

slash, thinky thoughts, spn, wincest, dreams
