Their love is SO tragic. And then we know that Kirk dies in his what, early sixties or late fifties I forget which, and Spock has to live almost a century without him? D: I want Shatner in a future movie, just so we can get a Prime reunion. Although, they probably won't, because there would be the biggest gay kiss this side of San Fransisco if that were to occur. I thought about talking about it, but good god, there is really not much to say. I think this is probably one of the most romantic things I've ever seen. How can people not see K/S? As McCoy would say, "a blind man can see it with a cane."
I think its so funny when I was trying to explain K/S to my mum and she was all like "bbbut what would Gene Roddenberry think of all this silliness!?!" and was at such a loss for words when I said how he even explained all that. It was such a hilarious event in her life. XD
lol. Seriously, I want a time machine so I can shake that man's hand. I find it hilarious when we go on about K/S and really only the most homophobic (or just happily deluded) people won't see it.
LOL YOUR ICON! :D Seriously, their love is oh so CANON. I can't even...and what makes it 1000 times better is the fact that since the show and movies are done, NOTHING CAN FUCK WITH THE CANON. Even if the alternate reality makes K/S in the future moot (which so far it has most definitely NOT) we've still got TOS forever and ever and ever.
I'm STILL having that ongoing debate with textuck about the epic love between Spock/Kirk and whether its just my imagination or if its canon. The more of TOS I see, the more I wanna go WAIT HOW IS THIS IN ANY WAY NOT EPICALLY GAY?! I don't understand how he can continue to deny it and be all "they liked women and were just good friends".
