Do you remember when...

...you first saw Sam and Dean ninja fight each other at Stanford?

...SPN fandom's only big issue was wincest?

...practically SPN's only ship was wincest?

...Dean still believed that there were no angels?

...Sam got his ass handed to him, usually by choking, almost every week?

...Dean crying was a rare thing that made you cry too?

...Sam died in Dean's ( Read more... )

SUCH a good season. I think 'Tall Tales' is the crackiest thing I've seen on television. I remember the slow dancing alien, and I was like, 'is this real life? WHUT?'

I remember seeing the slow dancing alien and laughing so hard my roommates came running. I love this show's sense of humor sometimes.

Man, you can even count a good portion of season three in there, because lord knows I can't do without Bad Day at Black Rock, Jus in Bello, and Mystery fucking SPOT.

GOD.YES.

I really want season five to end with wincest. Like, Kripke doesn't want there to be a season six and if he threw wincest in there, you know what, I'm pretty sure the CW would cancel the show.

The only thing I love about the seasons four and five? Misha. I epically love Misha Collins and I can't help it. But, I really want to go back to the early seasons where they loved each other so much.

And season three when Sam was so fucking desperate to save his brother. All those Tuesdays and the Wednesday that followed? Broke my heart.

Bring back the brotherly love, Kripke.

THIS MOTHERFUCKER, THIS. Hell yes, do want wincest. Hell, I'd take a contrived kiss, you can do it! Like a fic I read where Sam saved Dean from Hell *early fic ftw* and he kissed Dean and gave him back his soul. THIS CAN HAPPEN AND IT CAN EVEN BE CLEVERLY EXPLAINED AWAY AS GIVING A SOUL BACK, LEAVING DROVES OF FANGIRLS ECSTATIC THAT THEY CAN WRITE POST-SPN FIC WITH AS MUCH WINCEST AS THEY PLEASE!

*coughs* Or you know, word.

I do love Castiel. He's one of the few things that made season 4 enjoyable, but now his storyline is getting stale and I'm ALL ABOUT THE BOYS AGAIN, so you know, he's mine and Dean's rebound boyfriend. :P

Season three wasn't my favorite, but some episodes are just made of win. My second favorite SPN episode is Mystery Spot. SAMMY! sdiofaplkdfjadf

And you know, even with the shit bomb season 4 was, it gave us this, even if I'd give it back in a second if they could have killed Ruby right there:

Season Three. I loved the boys in that season. I loved A Supernatural Christmas and JALDFSK! MYSTERY SPOT *dead* and Sammy's desperation and Sam walking in on Dean having sex and Dean being all "HI-YAH, SAMMY!" and it would have been my favorite season if they hadn't added in Ruby, which totally killed the whole motherfucking thing for me. And Bella. I didn't really like Bella, either, but she at least (presumably) died after just a few episodes.

Because right from the beginning I was like "DOWN WITH RUBY" And Katie Cassidy is cool and all (and I will admit her hotness) but I really did not like Ruby right from the beginning. I spent all of Season Four screaming at my TV JUST FUCKING KILL HER DEAN. SAM WILL GET OVER IT. JUST.FUCKING.KILL.HER..

Oh, Castiel, he is my favorite right now. I love my boys, I really fucking do, but they're being dumb and frustrating me because I've put up with their issues for a fucking season and and I can't help it, Cas goes from all intense and Toppy to freaking hilarious and innocent and I just ( ... )

I have a gift of making fangirls babble. :D See, I actually liked Ruby 1.0, but when they got Genevieve Cortese, it fucking RUINED the character, and I didn't even have to get to the parts where the writing of her pissed me off. The moment I saw her in the motel room with Sam, I didn't even know she would be a recurring character and STILL I thought she sucked ass. Bela...no words, but at least she was gotten rid of in a plot-inspiring way.

Oh Castiel, I totally love you, especially for getting yourself killed for Dean. I hope he gets a happy ending too.

I think the gayest episode of all time is the one with the Siren, can't remember the name of it. But come on, the Siren showed itself to Dean as A MAN because what Dean wants most isn't some bitch in a g-string, it was DEAN. There is no way you can interpret that in a non-slashy way, wth. LOOK, GODDAMN!

I'm waiting for the hiatus so I can drown my sorrow properly, lol. It was truly a different show, and when I watch new stuff, I wonder if I'd like it so much if I started with season five. It was just...so quaint back then, winchesters against the world, and that's still true, but now it's winchesters against the universe and that's far-fetched and a little depressing given that they were estranged.

Thanks for making me CRY. No, seriously. That is the Supernatural I miss, that is the Supernatural I tuned in for, and it doesn't exist anymore - which is the reason why I'm not watching this show anymore. I'm still bitter over how much it's lost its focus, since everything you listed up there.

Every single thing you listed up there makes me hurt a little bit more.

I'm almost afraid to watch it again, I'd probably start crying too. I'm like, stoically writing this up so I don't end up crying. I mean, I'm still watching (even if I was fucking ready to quit last season until the finale mollified me a little) but it's not the same show. It's like, I was full-fledged batshit crazy fangirl back then, but now I just watch the show and post a reaction, no fic, no involvement.
