There is this series of Biggles book covers that won't stop fascinating me with its utter weirdness/hilariousness. I think they are from Knights Books. We already had some of them here. I've been browsing ebay lately and found two more I haven't seen before. Seriously... I mean, what?

Some Battle of Britain thoughts
I am rereading the 'Spitfire Parade' now, I finally got hold of an English copy. What really bothers me, though, is that they are not using their radios at all. In some of the stories the plot could be seriously changed if they used the radio, so that might be why Johns conveniently 'forgot' it existed, when he was adapting the stories from the WWI ( Read more... ) -
