I've been getting a bit sick of all the rain we've been having lately. It's meant I've been having to work in the rain, and it slows me down as I have to double bag all the papers.
But apparently the world is ending in other parts of the country. The Ohio and Mississippi rivers are starting to flood areas around Missouri and Illinois. And for some reason the deep south has seen more tornados in two weeks than they've seen in years. Hundreds dead and entire cities flattened from hundreds of tornados.
Either Jesus is coming, or global climate change is fucking up our weather. Since I really don't believe in the first, I'd say the second. Unfortunatly, oil companies and fundies like to believe in the first, and believe that God will not allow people to destroy the climate. And so they pollute and ignore the warning signs, like the crazy winter we had, and the killer tornados we've been having, and the melting glaciers, and raising temps.
So yea, I guess we've had it better up here compared to the South. However, I've noticed the local river's starting to go over its banks in some spots, so I'm a bit worried. There has been some local flooding in Detroit. >_>;
